
The most often used Commenting and Markup tools are:

- Sticky Note Tool — Click the page with this tool to add a note to that exact location. The note will be tagged with your name for tracking changes from multiple users. If moved, the note will continue pointing to the original location.
- Text Edits Tool — This tool allows you to use keyboard to indicate that text should be inserted, deleted, or replaced.
- To indicate that text should be inserted, click between words or characters where you want to insert text and then begin typing. An insertion caret appears and the text is added to a pop-up note.
- To indicate that text should be deleted, select the text and then press Backspace or Delete. The text is marked with red cross-out to indicate tha it should be deleted.
- To indicate that text should be replaced, select the text and then begin typing. The selected text is marked with blue cross-out, an insertion caret appears, and the replacement text is added to a pop-up note.
- Highlight Text Tool — Select text using this tool to highlight it. Use the Sticky Note tool to add comment to this text.
- Text Box Tool — Copy and paste text into a text box tool.
- Callout Tool — This tool works like the Text Box tool but also points to a specific location. If moved, the box will continue pointing to the original location.
